Quality Apples for Over 100 Years

For over 100 years one thing has remained constant, our commitment to growing the best apples. Throughout the year we keep careful watch on our trees and maintain them with the latest growing techniques. Every winter each one of our 250,000 trees is trimmed by hand. In the spring we bring in over 400 hives of bees to help pollinate our crop and we also carefully watch the weather so we can fend off any potential threats of frost. As the first orchard to utilize wind machines as an affective deterent back in 1956 we understand the importance of keeping our trees happy!

The cold winters and precipitation in Upstate New York let our trees grow extra strong, making us one of the best regions in the world for growing apples. We grow over 15 varieties of apples on our land in the hills and valleys of LaFayette, NY. Through our partnership with the Cornell extension we are able to stay up to date on new additions to the market and bring you the latest varieties.

It's our commitment to making sure every tree grows as strong as possible that produces the consistent quality of apples we are known for. Our apples are available to Pick Your Own at Apple Hill and at your local grocer.

Beak & Skiff Apple Cider is made on site in our cider mill. We grow all the apples that are used in our cider and it is our quality apples and the unique blend we use that make our cider so delicious.

Beak & Skiff Apple Cider is flash pasteurized using the latest technology and then stored in our coolers until ready to ship. Our cider is available at Apple Hill and at your local grocer.
