Here’s another good sign for concerts returning to Central New York: Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards announced the first show of its 2021 summer concert series on Wednesday.
Funky jam band Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will perform back-to-back shows at Beak & Skiff in LaFayette, N.Y., on June 18 and 19.
“We want to offer people an escape, a place where they can leave all their troubles and worries behind and embrace the joy of human connection,” guitarist/vocalist Greg Ormont said in a statement. “Our mission with our music is to create the most blissful, carefree experience possible.”
Presale tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. through dspshows.com with code DAWN. Remaining tickets go on sale to the public Friday at 10 a.m.
The shows will have Covid-19 restrictions including a health and temperature check before entering; masks are mandatory when entering, exiting or traveling throughout venue; all guests sharing a Pod must enter venue at same time; and no eating or drinking outside your designated Grid. Guests will be allowed one verbal warning for violations before being asked to leave.
All tickets for The Decemberists are being automatically refunded within 7-10 days, according to Beak & Skiff. Questions or concerns may be directed to info@dspshows.com.
